Who we are
Purify is operated by Purify LLC ("Purify," "we," "us"), a company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Purify lets diners browse menus, order, and get recommendations at participating restaurants through try-purify.com and the Purify apps. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account data. An anonymous device identifier by default; your email address and display name only if you create an account.
- Dining activity. The items you order and the reviews you leave. These build your taste profile and improve recommendations.
- Restaurant staff accounts. Name, email, and role for staff who use the restaurant dashboard.
- Support correspondence. Emails you send us, so we can help and keep a record of the conversation.
- Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and reliability.
What we don't do
- No location tracking.
- No access to your contacts.
- No advertising identifiers.
- We do not sell personal data.
How we use information
Your order history and reviews power your personal taste profile, so menus can be arranged around what you like. Restaurants see aggregate, anonymized analytics — for example, how often a dish is ordered — never your individual profile. We also use data to operate, secure, and improve the service.
When information is shared
- The restaurant you order from receives your order and table number so it can be prepared and delivered — the same information any restaurant needs to serve you.
- Service providers that host our infrastructure and process data on our behalf (cloud hosting, AI-powered menu and recommendation processing), bound to use it only to provide the service.
- Legal requirements, if we're required to disclose information by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes. When you delete your account, associated personal data is removed within 30 days.
Your rights & deleting your data
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email ryan@try-purify.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
Children
Purify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
All traffic to Purify is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is limited to those who need it to operate the service.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
